Hi all! This will be first set up, so I know that what I read online and what it is in practice can be a whole different story, that's why I would like to get your personal experiences and input on this. My tent will be an 80x80cm base, in my case the watt usage is a very important factor. I originally wanted the Mars Hydro ts 1000 but as its only good for 60x60 on bloom, I am thinking to get the 2000 instead and dim the lights to the appropriate level. My idea is to use it max 75% on blooming phase which would draw about 225/230w and I think it should be still more than enough in case of an 80x80 tent. I am thinking it would also have the added benefit of longer lifespan of the leds and less heat produced by the lamp itself. (I am also reading comments where people let the light closer to the plants than recommended, dimmed down, that's also what I am thinking to do for veg phase)
I was actually ready to buy the Lumatek Attis 200w, but it seems to be all out of stock and won't be available till mid-June. I also want to point out I live in Europe, so lights mainly only available in the US such as the Spider Farmer, won't be an option for me.
