HeLp.. Male,Fem oder..!!

:mrgreen:Hi folks...
I'm hoping someone can give some input to the problem, which I'm experiencing..

I'm a newbie, however I've been reading posts here for some time now...
My problem is to do with Flowering & Sexing a plant.
I've got an 11inch alien, thats been absorbing 600w Hp beanz, on a 12/12 cycle... for like three weeks now..

Things have started to show, & in such a way that I'm becoming concerned.
Other posts, I've read have stated that Males show as three balls..'Jack o Clubs.' like.
I had originally judged this plant to be Female, because I thought I saw a 'Tulip' shape with Two prongs coming out of it.. Much like the prongs on that famous, dilling-toy, 'The Rabbit'.

Since my first sighting, things have moved on. The crown shows twin buds, which look like a 'Scottish Thistle', or a 'Burr'( sticks to your dogs coat when walking in undergroth) loads of spines surrounding a ball shape.
At first, I thought this may be tiny new-forming leaves, but now I can definatly see what looks like cotton-wool hair, & their colour is 'creamy-vanilla ice-cream' like. To hold plant at arms length, and view the crown, I think most Newbies would consider that these look like young tender buds to be..:joint:

The immediate nodes below, are packed with tiny lickle ball-like thinggies, which resemble bunches of dates, figs or even upturned coconuts (imagine Grapes, if you reside in Europe..Ha!)

The largest formed bunches, look more like the 'Jack of spades' under magification, with up to four vertical, evenly-spaced grooves. The smallest bunching is a group of four spear shaped acorns. The lowest three nodes have only one pod each.

Personally I would like to think that these pods will open into lovely Primrose coloured Morning Glory, trumpets.. with Angels & Hummingbirds darting to and fro....in this temperate environment, which I have created.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!! then it hits me, that these could be male pods, and I gotta get rid... ASAP.
But I can't.....( I can't, I tell you!! ) ist so pritty, ist such a gorgeous lil tree, is gotzta be female....huh? .....Huh!!
Could this be one of those hefrarmilliac's - Hempmethfrodite- Homofemothodite......A firkin LadyBoy!!

....Just my fookin luck:peace:

If you have female flowers (the buds with the white pistills comming off) and you have clusters of grapes also on the plant, you have a hermaphrodite.

now if you just have pods that are 1 pod and no pistills dont be worried. it just hasnt developed like the others have yet.

couldn't you take careful watch over your precious baby and trim it's balls off each time one appears, maybe seperate it from others just in case?

Thanks for the input... I guess I'll have to admit "This plant is a hermaphrodite."
I was looking forward to trying my hand at cloning, but I can learn from this too, being able to observe male and female parts together.
I think I read some where that a hermaphrodite can be caused by trauma in the plants growing. (bad handling, conditions/enviro.. etc.)
(Any truth in that??)
This would fit, my curcumstance as the plant had outgrown its original 4"x4"x4" peat pot, it resembled a Bonsai tree on the Tower of Piazza.
I just fitted new peat pots over the roots, until I got some more soil.
