green is the ground
black is hot
and white is neutrol i think thats correct

so basically get another wire with a peac that u can connect to the wall and connect the white with the white blacl wire with the black and green u can just put that around a small screw and screw it on a metel peac on the bulb or just use a screw nut and cover the green wire. that should work :)

First, you want to make sure that the fixture has a ballast built into it. Then you need to find the input and output voltage and amperage (input should be 115 or 120v and 10 amps., output will depend on the wattage of the bulb). Once you determine the output, you want to find a transformer that matches those requirements printed on the fixture...also, its most likely a dc.

its more complicated than that if the balast is not wored correctly given that this is most likely an outdoor light with a day/night sensor that obviously needs to be removed. If this is the case I will find u the link for wiring it.
If not and already correctly wired, than you will simply need an 3 prong extension cord, cut off the female end and match wires and connect to light.

The fixture does have a ballast to power it. Here are pics . I think this is a flood light , Do I want to use this?

sure. looks like a HPS 70 Watt-should state right on the bulb. all you need is an extension cord with the same wire thickness as the ones with the light. snip off the female end, splice together and plug in. make sure lamp is in proper postion, i.e. horizontal, before ingniting.
