help ive got fungus

hey evry1 ive just noticed ive got from wot i read a powdery mildew problem im about a week from harvest and its ony a small bit on 1 bud shud i just harvest now r what can i do i ony hav 1 plant n really dnt want it b useless! ive no cam so cant get pics but its a small bit on the bottom of a main bud it look lik a load of trichs but wen i looked closer it was all white hair lik fungus! pleaz sum 1 hav solution

if i cut off the bud do you tink it will spread?

if i harvest nw will wy buds b alrite to smoke sum1 reply pleaz cuz its recking my head

yea well i cut i dwn yesterdan and discovered it was bud rot but ony 1 bud was affected ao i cut all the mold out and hav it drying in a different place! wot duz evry1 think will it b all right?

Y don't you go to homo depot and buy some a powdered fungicide?
I use Garden Dust from seedling all the way through flowering and never had fungus/mold trouble, AND I live in a place where mold and fungus proliferate quite rapidly.

well dr green im not in america n it was ony bout a week frm finishing so i didnt wana start puting chemicals near her! do u tink it will spread while its drying?

Buy some Neem Oil. It's an all natural way to get rid of that mold. I just had some mold on my girls a couple of days ago but I'm still in veg. Also keep the humidity below 50% and keep the heat up around 80-85F. That's suppose to keep the mold from spreading. Also they're air born so try to remove as much from your grow room as you can.

It might be too late for the Neem Oil since your a week away from harvest (and especially since you don't want to spray down your girls this late into flowering) but it's good info for future reference. Neem oil causes huge growth spurts so it's really good to use it in veg anyways.

That white mold is a pain in the ass!

hey tanx forsaken il keep dat neem oil in mind for nxt tym round!but i have her chop nw and dryin hopin 4 the best!! it kinda shity cuz i had no probs the way thru and den at the end SHIT HAPPENS

I was getting some powdery mildew and i grow my ladies organic. I didnt want to use any chems and no time for neem oil. I am bout 4-5 weeks into flower and was noticing small amounts around the edge of my garden. U need to catch it fast and stay on it or it will just spread. I was just spot spraying leaves where i saw build up. This method seemed to work for me about 80 %. Just stay persistant and get it first on the lower branches before it spreads. Remember 1 to 9 ratio with the milk . More is not better.

Mold is a fungus.

yea tanx moe ! ive done alot of reading on mold n stuff nw so il be watchin out 4 it nxt tym i didnt pay to much attention to lookin for mold dis tym cuz it woz my first grow n it all seemed to b gooing so well! forsaken ive no pics man but it was 1 plant lst'd in a 7.5 litre pot! it woz flowerin in a little cab i made myself wit 124 watts of cfl's cost me around 60! its near dry now and yielded bout an ounce includin buds i tok off early!

no prob mang , so many different probs to deal with u gotta be on ur toes. good looking out

thats some awesome info! How much milk did you put in a gallon of water or did you just eyeball it?

NICE! I just harvested an OG Kush plant that I did a bunch of topping on as an experiment. I got just under an ounce (it was 23" i think by the end, not very tall). Doing LST & topping on the next grow! Blue Dream, UK Cheese and 91' Chemdawg!

yea my plant finished at 12" 14" but i topped 3 tyms so it woz very bushy! not sure of the strain got a sensi fem mix while in amsterdam but it woz sativa lookin! wher did u get da chemdawg

Got it from a club out in Malibu called Green Angel. They've only ever had it once that i know of so I snagged one.

9 parts of water to 1 part of milk seems to do the trick
