Help, I want seeds!

Heres my problem: I grow outdoor and have a female well into flowering. I have a starter about 1 week old that if it turns out to be male i would like to use to pollenate the girl. My question is how late into flowering can I pollenate successfully? Also if it does pollenate, how long should i expect a seed to fully develope? I was expecting to harvest maybe in the beginning of January.

i think u need to pollinate 2-4 weeks in when plenty white hairs, then takes about 4-6 weeks for seeds to finish, best to leave plant to die to increase amount of viable seeds
