Hello all. This is my first thread and first grow. Here is the situation.... My timer did not switch off like it was supposed to last night and they were left on for the full night cycle. Currently my plants have had 24 hours of light. I am almost 4 weeks into flowering. What should I do? Should I just wait it out and keep the lights on until their regular night cycle is back, (giving them 36 hours light) or shut them off now? (which will screw up my schedule too) MOST importantly, no matter what I decide to do, what are the chances that my plant will hermie? Please help..... they are doing so well and now I am worried as hell! Thanks! P.s., I got a new timer already!

I have done this with some plants. Mistakenly left my timer on constant for 3days.

Just go back to your normal schedule, I found a couple of male flowers here and there on mine but nothing detrimental.

Get a better timer.

Or if you are in the UK get a horticultural lighting contactor.

Thank you so much. Ill keep them on for now and then go on to the regular schedule. I was really stressing over it. time to smoke a fatty and stop worrying huh? Nothing I can do now lol

yes, i got a new timer and ALL lights are under that one timer now so things should be good. I just dont want them to hermie. Thank you for the reassurance.

you'll be fine. i had a mechanical timer that was starting to "slow" down which resulted in 16 hour light cycles for an entire week in my flower room. only had a couple seeds show up. get a digital timer. mechanical timers will fail eventually the way I look at it.
