Hubby and I have been building an extra vegetative grow room today and he punctured the oil line.

Does anyone know the best way to temporarily fix this?

He's kinda freakin right now???

Yes rubber tape is what he was looking for but it is Sunday and nothing is open.
He put some blue tape around it and then wrapped some duct tape for now. We can't shut off our furnace because it is way too cold here.

So far it seems to be working.

He says he is going to try and get a compression fitting and see what happens.:blsmoke:

Thanks

piece of rubber wrap pipe.cut pop can to fit around pipe and use two gear clamps to sucure

Go and get a 3/8 flare coupling and a flaring tool from Home Depot. Dont use a compression coupling on an oil line. Im a plumber, and would recommend the flare coulpling over the compression coupling

I am not a plumber just a farmer. It would be best to fix any oil leak in the house by a proffesional.

Stay warm and safe (-:
