HELP..Globs of Golden Honey in my plant???

Ive been a grower for over 10 years and i have never seen anything like this on my plants or heard of this happening to anyone else. So any input would be much appreciated. These were grown from 2 mystery clones that were gifted to me (side note- if anyone has any idea on strain, any input would be great). Grown with Pro-Mix soil, general hydroponics flora series nutrients and botanicare CAL-MAG Plus, under a 600MH for 3 weeks of veg and 600HPS for 11 weeks of flower. I am planing on harvesting this weekend so i thought id take this opportunity before these mystery globs dry up. I did poked these globs with a wooden skewer and it was just like poking honey. It smelled like sweet candy, citrus heaven and tasted like it smells.

I have only done some very light research on this and did not find anything. ANY insight, feedback, or questions are welcome.

I have included pictures of the globs and some other pictures of the same plants without the globs, just to show that its not happening on all of the flowers and to show how sugary these turned out.

haha you don't need help. You have done very well. This means your plant has access to a very high level of sugar or brix. This is really all I know about it, aside from the fact that it's dank smoke. Enjoy man.



Oh yeah by the way it won't be lost during the drying process, it basically driess into the purest rosin on earth. Put these shiny nugs aside. For every one you see, there is at least one more like it that you don't. I found a lot in the lower-middle canopy. When it dries these globs will become more apparent because of the bud shrinkage. If you really want to find them, trim these by hand with your favorite trim buddy and make sure to look very carefully.

Aw dude! You started off ok, Kinda part of the story BUT, the second part - "Dry's into the purest resin on Earth" (proper spelling) BZZZT! Sorry incorrect!

ANSWER IS?

That's Phloem sap....Sap should not to be confused with resin or cell sap; it is a separate substance, separately produced, and with different components and functions.

Phloem sap consists of sugars, hormones and mineral elements that feed the plant and regulate growth. It does have high "sugar" levels and travels in the plant under high osmotic pressure traveling through the Phloem sieve tubes just under the "skin" of the plant.....If there is a weak spot in the "skin" and the pressure gets high enough or there is a bit of damage in a spot....The "skin" of the plant can rupture and out leaks this gooey stuff. I've had this on different strains at different times and the answer is from simple botoney...

No matter what you do, you can not get "high" on this stuff..

RESIN not ROSIN - LOL! Not putting resin on my bow, or rosin in my bowl!
And dry's/dries is like spelling potato/potatoe Both are deemed correct....
