Help! First time, seeds germinated, now what?!

I checked this morning and I have 6 beautiful white widow seeds with tap roots just barely sticking out of each of them. They should be ready to transplant by this evening I’m hoping. I got a tray holding six rapid root plugs, given to me by an indoor grow store. This is not where I had planned to plant the germinated seeds but the store did not have the soil I need and won’t for a few days. Please help with these burning questions I have!
Will the root plugs work if I plant the germinated seeds in them?
How far down should I plant the germinated seeds in the root plug?
How long will the seedling grow in the root plug?
Directly after planting the seeds, what type of temp. Humidity, and light schedule should I do?
Also at what distance should I place the light after planting? I do not want to burn my seedlings.
many and all help/advice is so greatly appreciated!

Root plugs work great for germinated seeds. They usually have a small hole in them already. Just drop the seed in the hole (taproot down) but dont force it any lower. Put a pinch of soil on top of the seed. If you have a humidity dome, use it until the stem breaks through the surface. (it shouldnt be longer than a day or 2). I keep mine on a windowsill during this time. Pour some water into the tray and the plugs will absorb it. A heat mat under the tray will keep them warm. Transplant into a small planter when you see roots on the plug or when they start growing. Any type of lightweight starting soil should be fine until your ready to transplant into their final home. You have plenty of time to get the soil you want but if you use the windowsill method make sure they dont get too "leggy" which they surely will if left too long. Good luck!
