Help finalize 6 site rdwc in a 5x5 remote epi

Hello folks ,

I am having a few design ideas and thought I would ask. I am using a 5x5 and going to get 6 sites in there with the epicenter outside. I am leaning towards the right diagram and using a waterfall for O2 rather than air stones and pump..

Thoughts on the designs? or better ideas are very welcome as well

I am looking for a smart way to add the waterfall to the 6 sites and not have to use air stones if anyone has an idea, thank you

I think I have the idea down now..

This is a simpler version (I think). No more airstones and hot air, water pump in the center on the floor running waterfalls to each of the 7 buckets.. I think I should have a good amount of DO and will move the water pretty well with a strong waterfall effect going to each of the 7 buckets if I pair it with a large enough water pump like a 1000gph to create the desired pressure

go with the waterfalls
set your circulation pump at the back of the loop pulling from your control bucket and returning to each site. set your return spouts as high as you can. use pvc for the return if you can. if you have to use soft hose, brace it with something or it will sag
to create the desired pressure, youll want to reduce the pipe size at each step, ie 2" connecting the sites, 1" intake on pump, 1/2" return from pump. as far as pump size goes, you want it to turn all your water over every 3.5 minutes or so

just dawned to me.. can I use waterfalls if I am using co2 in the tent at 1500ppm?

and totally revamping the design on your suggestion sparking some good ideas, thank you

updated design I will be going with. I deleted the rear pvc connected the last two buckets, moved the pump to the rez and I think it will work better than the original idea intended

I was told to keep my return lines in line to help with flow and not to stagger like pictured. I'm also builing a rdwc 5 tote system for a 5x10 flower space.

If you run a chiller loop to your controller make the return a water fall.

You could feed the sites with water falls easier than a gravity return.

I was curious if I would be pushing co@ to the roots is why I did not go that route. I was thinking about air stones in a sealed co2 tent. That would be pumping co2 to the roots rather than o2, that is why I changed it a bit.

I did finalize the build and it is AMAZING! I also enclosed my fluence spydr to vent out and remove the excess heat as the light is so powerful; you can get foxtails in the blink of an eye (I learned the hard way before lol)

Really airstones and co2 = carbonic acid and that equals pH drop. So a system without airstones has the potential to be more stable and easier to maintain.
