Help Diagnose.

I am growing 3 plants in a closet.

Week 4 of flower. I've had some gnats, nothing crazy but I
bought some Spinosad today to deal with the problem just in case.

Coco/ph 5.8, ~77degrees, 55% humidity

My center plant(only) is having a problem:

I need help diagnosing it - it really does seem deficient. I'm just wondering if it's because gnats
have messed with the roots. I've been slowly upping its Bloom nutes everyday, but now im starting
to get burnt tips so I don't want to add any more nutes, if anything I want to take it down just a tad.

Right now I'm feeding it roughly 700ppm, mostly bloom, some cal mag just a bit of veg nutes.

Anyways, here are the pics, let me know what you think. I swear I follow all the guides but these black
dots are don't seem exactly like anything from the guides I have.

to much cal mag not enough air movement ph to low try 6.1. my guess is you use tap water that's starts with something like 240ppm. no real need for cal mag at that point maybe just 1/3 strength. id drop your total ppm by 100 bump ph up alittle and see how she goes. just my guess

Yeah, I'm sure your right about cal mag. I recently lowered it a lot. Everyone said to add cal-mag with coco but when I looked at the Coco A %'s it was so high in calcium already. I lowered the dosage, but I'll lower it to almost nothing now.

I'll put up a fan tonight I have one sitting in a box so might as well. I'll even do a slight defoliation.
to help get better airlfow.

Now about the PH.. you seem to be the first person to suggest going over 5.8 for Coco+synth nutes.. curious as to why you think 6.1 would be better?

I took some pictures with quantum boards off, just so color is right:

Hi, I grow in 50/50 coco/perlite. 5.8 is spot on perfect for your pH. Use 15 ml of spinosad/1 gal of water add 1-2 drops of detergent as a surfactant and do a root drench. Do this every three days until your problem is cleared. Week 4-5 of flower in coco with root issues from fungus gnats is what this looks like. After you get them cleared out root drench weekly.

Once you get the pests squared away then you can figure out if you have a deficit and what it is from.

You should be able to although it will reduce it a little and delay it a little, education tax! Good luck and keep us posted.

Sounds good, I'll follow up in a few days. Since I got your attention, I'm curious what your feeding schedule is like, and what nutrients you use.

I use General Hydroponics 3 part Flora series. I also use GH CaliMagic their Ca/Mg product and whichever Silica product is cheapest.

I water everyone once a day, in the morning, if they need it, clones and seedlings require less than daily watering, usually.

I also water once daily, but before bed. Not for any particular reason other than my schedule. I always have a decent amount of runoff so I think technically I "root drench"
every night, unless I misunderstand what you mean by root drenching.

I've applied the Spinosad to my feed the last two nights. I threw out the packaging and forget the name, but I also hung this insect killer thing that resembles an air freshener
that I bought from my local hydro shop. It works amazing on the adult gnats, not one to be found anywhere they are definitely all dead. I assume in a few days the
larvae should be wiped out and then hopefully I will see my plant healing a bit. It looks slightly worse today than yesterday.

It's seems odd that the plants in direct contact on either side of this plant are completely fine.

I make an effort on keeping my posts reasonably short, but this one seems to be escaping me a little.

When it comes to nutrients, it appears you just give your plants access to the standard nutrients and then some silica.
Do you use any form of mycorrhizae at any point? Liquid seaweed, super thrive, enzymes etc? Or in your opinion is that all wasted with hydroponics/coco?

I'm still relatively new to growing, this will be my third harvest ever and I am still having trouble weeding out all the bullshit.

Idk maybe up the mag at 1/2gr per gal. for a couple of watering's.

Plants look ok it seems to me your worrying about old leaves from a issue you had weeks ago. Pick off the shitty leaves and move on.

You should water earliest to when lights come on as possible so the roots dont sit in wet when lights go out and the plant sleeps.
