help choice of my fan and filter into my grow tent!!!! 32x32 - 600w

hi! so here the thing..

i got a grow tent...
-32inchby32inch and 5 foot tall...

light
-600 watts digital ballast HPS/MH

now i cant make choice for fan!

i wanna to just cool the tube (COOL HOOD )itself ..my first idea was to put 2 booster duct fan of 240cfm...each extremity! so the air will just pas there and not go into the tent...so its really just for the heat

but my grow shop try to sell me a inline fan at 200$ cause he said booster wont work ! i think he want my money ! what u think guys ! 1 inline or 2 booster ?

in way of design 2 booster cover the couple inch each side so it make a nice way direct for the air ...

then second question...carbon filter! 4 inch sound pretty good for that size of tent ! looking for 4X 12inch long... and even here..about the fan...really need a inline or a good brand new booster will work?

Thanks

booster fans are crap. its very important to have good ventilation. imo get an inline fan.

i dont use a filter but they will restrict the flow quite a bit so a good fan is needed. you may not have to spend 200 bucks for a fan, so hopefully someone will be more help in choosing a fan for you.

you could have 1 large fan and have a wye fitting so you can suck air through the light and also have a duct going to the ceiling for the heat.

or 2 smaller exhaust fans , 1 for the light and 1 for the room

since i dont use a filter i can get away with a stanley blower for the exhaust and a passive intake. stanley blower was new from ebay for 25 bucks. they are like double that price usually.
i want an inline fan but 200 bucks lol. i will have one someday though.

My first tent I ever bought was an orginal hydrohut 4x4 witch was a peice of shit cause of the plastic it was made of but anyways I put a 6"fan 265cfm in there with appropriate sized filter (goblin) and used a duct fan for the intake witch had a cfm of 160 I beleive. And I used a 160 cfm duct fan to air cool my lights and it all worked well. But he is right I would not use a duct fan with my air cooled lights as it doesn't push enough heat out as u can feel by placing your hand on the glass/hood. Doing this will wear out your bulb faster and put you at risk. I reccommend at least 250cfm for aircooling a bulb.

$200 for a fucking centrifugal fan is a joke unless your buying an 8 inch vortex, I would never use a booster fan for cooling lights, i would go with one of these fan filter combos from htg supply they are reasonably priced and will take care of all of your heat and odor issues, http://www.htgsupply.com/Category-Fan-&-Filter-Combos.asp just remember its always better to have more ventilation than you need than not enough when you need it.
