hi i have just finished my second setup. i used nft system. basically my problem is on both occasions the buds have not been very fat. they are loose. the buds seem to have loads of empty space on the stems. i used sensi bud for veg and flowering and hammerhead aswell for flowering. i mixed a third of each a and b and the hammerhead in the tank keeping the feed level under control. but the buds dont come out fat. there are too many twigs and leaves compared to bud. the plants were very tall. i want to be able to keep the plants at a good size but produce fat buds.any advice would be could. is the quality of my feed any good. the plants seem to stretch towards the light rather then grow outwards. and does pre mixing the feed have an efect on the feed. i mixed all the feed together for the flowering and was just adding the mixture as i was going.on the first occasion i gt some jack herra clippings of a friend. they were excellent. the second time i gt big buddha cheese seeds.not really cheese if you ask me.dont smell nothing like it.

Hmmm... what are you using for lighting? Sounds to me that your light source isn't strong enough. "stretch towards the light rather then grow outwards". +more light the better.

i used 3 600watts lights for an 8ft tray with 6 palnts on it.
OK, that sounds fairly decent...what is the distance between your tops, and your lighting. Also how light proof is your room? I am thinking along the lines of the previous poster, and I have a feeling that something with the lighting is going on here.

If your lights on and off temps are way,way different like 20to 30 degree difference then the buds will be spaced apart more. Ya may want to flower them longer as well. Buds with a shit load of leaves is from too much nitrogen during flowering or i hate to say it but the strain bullshit thing.
