I started to grow but it seems like they're dying. I'm using cfl bulbs, i have a 400w lamp but im trying to keep a low profile and don't know how much that would run up the energy bill. Or about the heat that it would give off.

Help please cause they are dying by the second!

400 watter will be like 20-25 bucks a month on the bill. Don't worry about it, the electric company appreciates the business. A plant that just started growing should do fine under CFLs. I would wager that is not the problem. What is the temperature now? What's the soil? How often do you water?

a 400 watt light ran 24 hours a day at .11 cents a kWh which is as expensive as it gets costs a 1.16 a day to run or 34.85 a month and thats worsed case scenario

Biggest issue with it is the heat. But that's where you have to be creative and find the best way to get cool air in and hot air out. It's really not that bad.

What kinda soil are you using , whats your PH . Your plants dont look bad at all .
Cfls are fine to grow with , if you are using the right light spetrum . 6500k for vegging .These have a nice blue spetrum to them . You will need a few of them though . I use 9 in my vegging room .
