Help! Any Ideas???

Right now my plants are on their 10th and 15th day of flowering and the leaves are starting to look like the sides and tips are getting burnt. I have raised the light to try and fix the problem but it hasnt helped any. Is this a nutrient burn? could it be fixed by flushing them out? any suggestions greatly appreciated.

what wtt. light r u runing. looks like heat burn. how close waz your light & were is it now.

that does look like light bleaching but could be a nute/pH problem - what is your pH? soil or hydro?

You may want to have a look at this page to see if you think any of these symptoms are your problem..

does this problem only affect the top growth if so its most likely light bleaching...if its all over its a nute/ph issue...an i suggest fushing your plant with ph'd water for a couple waterings then fed half stength then next 2 feedings..it will clear up..peace az

i am growing hydro under a 400 hps. it is also effecting the lower leaves also so im pretty sure its a nutes burn. when flushing using a hydro table how long should i use plain water before i go back to the nutes? i switched the water to plain reverse osmosis ph'd water this morning and am really not sure when to add the fertilizers back in? any thoughts anyone?

Your PH is off- im sure of it. You are over nuting as well. The plant would be green and burning on the edges if you had the PH correct. Make sure in a hydro system you will need to check ph daily and keep it 5.5-6. As the ph rises naturally you will need to lower it. WHen it starts to lower on its own you need to change the solution. Also lower the PPM of your solution. If you dont have TDS meter and PH meter get them they are essential!

i really hope they bounce back! i do check the ph everyday but ever since i started using carbo load the ph will shoot up really far. i lower it to 5.6-5.8 and by the next day its at like 10! oh well all i can do is flush and wait to see what the hell happens. thanks for all the excellent advice from everyone!
