help!!! 4 weeks in flowering plant stopped growing

my plant was 15" 3 weeks into flowering with some small buds then the plant stopped growing and focused only on the buds and now 5 weeks in the buds are already 1/3 amber/brown, and the buds only doubled in size. is their anything wrong here? will the buds get much bigger . my 2nd plant is doing fine looks like an ordinary plant 5 weeks into flowering.

what do you mean the buds are amber/ brown? Usually the actual flowers won't change to those colors. you should only see the resin glands and pistils changing color. Sometimes when you have a leaf that is rubbing on the top of a flower, it will cause the pistils to darken in color prematurely. If that is whats happening, the buds will continue to swell and increase in size.

i meant that around half of the pistils were already turning brown and the plant looks like it is almost ready to harvest 5 1/2 weeks in when the top bud is only 2 in.
