hello all

First time grower, and i know your all gonna tell me to search the threads, but i basically want to know what i need after thay are germinated i got the right lights i'm just unsure as to what soil, what kinds of nute's, basically anything i missed or the basic basic stuff of growing. i know my first grow isn't going to be flame but i'm just looking to pick up a hobbie. any info would be great

get a good soiles mix dnt feed nutes for atleast 3 weeks get somthin for veg that high in nitro and for flower u want high in phos

What soil is good and what is bad?

go to your local hydro shop..and ask ten million questions..you are however growing strawberry's and patunia's ....they will be MORE THAN happy to answer all of your questions..and give you like a hundred free magazines on hydro..that is how they sale their product is educating you on their products....be carefull..that can get expensive..alot of stuff you can build yourself cheaper..some of it isnt as effective.you will need hour upon hour of reading and educating yourself...go with some basic grow nutes till then..i recomend some liquid karma right off of the bat for some grow nutes...but start reading..and dont stop..and you will learn..

get a 5 gallon bucket full of good compost a 5 gallon bucket full of good quality top soil and 2 5 gallon buckets full of perlite. put a tarp down dump all the buckets on it, mix with a shovel, drill holes all over the bottom of the buckets and fill em with the mix.


a lot of pppl use fox farms ocean forest
some use maricle grow potting soil cut with lota perlite

whatever you use you should probably cut with perlite

not promix though, buy a bale and go grow!
