height

ok i have 2 plants flowering right now so far 2.5 weeks lots of flowers coming out no buds yet but i have a problem they are 2Ft 5inches and i'm growing in a closet i dont have the height i need to raise my 400watt hps any higher any suggestions how i can slow the height growth?
also i trimmed the bottom branches off once when i cloned in veg state and then again yesterday trimming em up.. beautiful but none the less they are still growing taller, i flowered at 1ft, 3 in.

got at most 7in til it hits the light but they are not burning up.

for heigh issus, do you know if its sativa based and is guna grow a shitload more ... cuz nothing at 2 weeks ? could be a long flowerer like a sativa right so\
and good job cutting the lower growth .... its really shitty later on ,,,, props buddy and to fix ur height issue LST low resistance training...over time slowly tie ur plant over , or even the new growth , so its still bendy, you can pull these down a bit , tie them to ur bucket and every day or 2 tighten them up a little and you can really do some cool stuff with LST checkout the faq they got some crazy shit lol

appreciate it man, mine is nothing compare to your mad science. lol anyways i thought of bending them, but the book i have says it might slow the hormones down and take another month or so to rejuvenate them again, (hence a longer flowering time if they flower) but i dunno i might have to do it anyways, really i would love to get a small SOG going with some autoflowers, and or any respectable strain, but i dont have the access to em.

yeah its hard man , best thing to do is go to your local hydro shop get to know them , let them know you grow and theyl help you out tons , and people will be in and my guy even hooks me up with clones rooted lol 7 bucks and lots of connections through them... or ur local head shops too sometimes ahahaha yeah i got some mad sceince goin on eh
yeah me too man thats the dream lol a good sog, im doing half a sog next time ithink, shallow water culture part op with first 4 weeks of flower in one in dwc , 400w hps and the last 4 weeks in shallow water culture under a 1000w hps

i would tie them down and throw that bible out lol fuck people get so stuck on that lol ... its not 100 percent , everyons plant is different the conditions location car lights ntues everything so you have to expiriment and do whats right for you man , this is ur first grow mine too , im alkmost harvested but ive been through probly every peoblem except bugs so as soona s somethings slightlywrong i know exactly what to do that works for this strain right ... if i endup getting another strain next time its going to be a whole new learning expirience on some levels because it will react differently and will take time to learn her signs

you got it buddy lol , tie them down slowly and you wont hurt it , just try not to stress it , you can to this for a test , take 1 branch bend it down as far as ya can without breaking it ..... come back in a hour see what happens lol , the tops will be pointing toward the light and might endup being colas all the way down it instead of airy'er ones at the bottom right , just watch though it will turn completly back towards the lights ... its a weed , it want light haha as long as checkicals can still ppass through its veins it will produce at peak efficiancy just go slow and dont damage her bud youl be fine
