So good news, my seed cracked, so today is day 1
. My current set up is in a closet, with a rubbermaid grow. I am currently only using 1 rubbermaid tub (I have the other one, but its just a nuisance to maintain my plants with it on top right now). I run on 4 CFL's bulbs, and I am only growing 1-2 plants.
My problem is heat. I am running at around 30-34 degrees Celcius. That is with the door open and the AC on. I BELIEVE that it is getting that hot only because the space (the rubbermaid tub) is so small, that heat builds up in it. Is it safe for me to take the lid off of the tub? Or would I be wasting light? (As the lid was reflecting light back down onto the plants)
