Heat Stress making loose buds HELP!!

ok so the last few days my room has been around 85 deg F. now the buds are looking a little loose as to keep them selves cool. which has happened to me before. my question is, can this be reversed. as in if i can put them in a much colder temp for instants 60 deg F would they tighten back up to keep cool? looked around for info but found nothing.

this is only a guess on my part, but i don't think they will tighten themselves back up.. the way they first develop is more than likely the way they will stay, even if the temps come down.
bringing the temps down should help with any new growth, but i'd think you're pretty much stuck with what you got already..
like i said, this is only a guess, so take it with a grain of salt.. maybe someone else will chime in..

ya i kind of was thinking the same thing....im about a week from flower and up until the last 3 days the temps and humidity have been more than ideal. i mean maybe they arent even loose looking and im over reacting. idek if its possible for buds that close to flower to start getting loose and in that short amount of time. the grow that i got loose buds from had high temps from start to finish.

yeah, i don't think a few days will effect things too much tbh..
i had a grow a few summers ago that the temps were way high, and the buds were foxtailing, and omfg, they took forever and a day to finish flowering.. i think i went like 15 weeks, and still chopped them down early.. i just got tired of looking at them, lol.. but yeah, heat is a real bitch for flowering ime..

ya i totally agree it is a bitch especially with summer hitting now, and i honestly could be over reacting i just usually dont grow in the summer for obvious reason. and on top of that im always extremely over protective of my grow lol. but i guess i was curious how much cold effects the buds as well. ive never done too many temperature experiment i usually try and keep it as perfect as possible.

Get it below 80 or harvests will suffer.

im going to get an ac unit today is it better to cool the room my 6x6x8 flower tent is in or cool the actual tent its self

if you throw some co2 into your room/tent/grow area. your plants can handle up to 90 degrees F.
