have i killed my seeds!?!

Hey all,

Been germinating my seeds for 5-7 days now(depending on seed) and my tangerine dream seeds never popped out of the rockwool
I checked on 2 of them(4 total) thinking that they may have been killed, and saw that the seeds were cracked, with a tiny bit of the tap root exposed, so I just carefully placed them back in their hole. Is there anyway to know if they are dead/salvagable/etc?

leave them alone or you will kill them. You'll know if they pop out in a few days or longer.

I agree just let them be. Also make sure your rockwool isnt completely dripping with water as you can drown them easily. Add some heat underneath of your setup and this should speed up the process.

Did you soak your rockwool?

u said u saw taproots so how r they not viable seeds?

Yes, presoaked the rockwool in PHed water.

as long as its a firm tap root u should be fine. if its a mushy cream colored paste then thay are no good
