have a couple issues, need some advice..

okay so i have almost everything for my grow to start... but im missing a couple things, I cant seem to find them and the shipping is too retarded to bother with so i need a back up plan.

i need a net pot but can't find one where I live.. is there a way to make one?

also no hydroton or what ever it is. could i use washed river rocks instead?

another thing got the GH nutes performance pack and need to know the nute ratio for auto flowers. have a ppm meter and ph meter on order.

Are you planning a bubble basket type grow ? If so I don't know about river rock but when I grew in bubble buckets I used a softer medium like rock wool. It was called something like that. I f you had to make a basket you maybe can use a plastic planter just cut holes all over in it. Don't know if this helps. Good luck fellow.

As long as you can make it stable anything plastic, sturdy, and pot shaped that you can drill or cut lots of holes in would work. Has for the hydroton ive heard people using lava rock. Im sure you can get that. Wash it and sterilize it maybe first. As for the ppm and ratio to be running im not familiar with them but in hydro just make sure that you start really low and gradually work your way up to a full dose when the plants are big enough to take it. Rip through diy hydro threads on here and youll get some great ideas im sure. Good luck.
