hash oil from moldy trim n bud?

i've got some bud n trim that smell like old dirty basement but no real visible mold. I would like to make oil out of it then oven purge. I would then put the oil in baked goods to eat. Any one know the dangers of ingesting concentrated dead mold spores?
I've eaten moldy bread a few times on accident, went to make a sandwich toasted the bread got 3/4 through the sandwich n noticed an odd taste then I checked the date n noticed there were 2 loafs of bread yuckkk but i never got sick.

All molds are not created equal. Molds like Powdery Mildew and Botrytis taste bad, but don't leave aflatoxins behind. You can filter out the bad taste by using a 0.2 micron syringe filter to remove the mold parts and spores, as well as any bacteria.

Molds like Aspergillus do leave pernicious aflatoxins behind, which you can't filter out, so you need to know which mold it is, to answer the question.

I suggest reviewing under a microscope to see what you have, before proceeding.

I've actually just bought a cheap cheap microscope, for the purpose of checking trims/flowers for trichome structure and presence of mold in my hash and flowers.

It goes up to 100x magnification and was only 25$..

Cheap yet effective, that's all one needs, no reason to get fancy.

100X is sufficient FD?

Thats actually a good investment, I think I might get one for that low of price. Good way to see your starting material and your material once you are done extracting to see if there are any trichomes left.

Yes...you don't need some 100$-500$ scope for our purposes.

I got mine on clearance at Toys R' us.. Totally designed for children, but it came with blank slides and lights up.

This cheap lil thing is pretty nifty, I would recommend to anybody, even just looking at a little bit of trichomes, very intriguing.

100 is adequate to identify the mold. I picked my first one up for $30 at Radio Shack.

I only have a cheap 100x but getting it focused is a pain. I just ordered a digital off ebay it will come in handy checking trichomes all so

USB microscopes are relatively inexpensive and work good, but I found a really handy manual scope for inspecting fabrics that I like best. The interchangeable eyepieces have grids on them, so that you can measure micron sizes.
