I’m wondering if I should switch from my blurple lights to the spider farmer with the Samsung diodes and meanwell driver. I feel like my blurple is doing well but wonder if the white would do better?
Has anyone used spider farmer lights?

The Spiderfarmer lights are good pre built ready to go lights. Ready for full cycle use. Blurples tend to struggle in flower but can be great veg lights.

I'm using one now and have no complaints. Take a look at the current grow in my signature and you can see the results. I was using a blurple on previous grows and swapped it out for the sf1000. The difference in plant growth is like night and day!
The SF1000 has a veg footprint of 2.5 x 2.5 ft, Flowering footprint is 2 x 2 ft. I've got 2 plants under it and they look happy.

Just started a grow with the same as MickeyFins. SF2000 & SF1000 in a 2 x 4 tent. The ability to dim the lights is so good.
I removed the ballasts and dimers with extension cables for heat control, not that there's much heat from them but any little bit helps.

This was a start to finish grow under a SF2000. Would turn out much better now with more experience but still yielded 9 ounces from 6 plants in a 2.6'x2.6' tent.

What height and percent did you have your lights at. I’m at 18”@ 20% for seedlings for now

Mine is the old model, no dimmer. 100% all the time unfortunately. I bought the light and they started offering the dimmer version right after. I wasn't happy.

Usually my veg tent, but my flower room is full, so had to flip.
First time flowering under them.
I like cobs for my style of growing...deeper penetration.

Be proud. A lot of first time growers don't even make it to harvest the first time. Gets easier and better each time.

Glad I came in here. I needed to see this. I have a 2.3x2.3 mars hydro tent wit 1 monster plant in it (ok baby monster lol)
I have the canopy looking like Steve Harvey's edge up when he had hair it's so even. I was hoping to hit 7oz as a minimum. This post just gave me hope that it's possible in a small space.

What is the purpose of the dimmers? I was under the impression that 100% was good all the time with the exception of brand new cuttings.
