Has anyone used Smart pots in hydro?

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with smart pots? if they used them with a hydro set up what was there media? and what hydro methoud


would they work in a sog?

I've used them with RW cubes & hydroton. Seen them used with everything from perilite to soiless mix though. I used them in Flood & Drain, but they can also be used in drip config or hand watering with soil.

Not sure about sog, they're kinda big (2 gal) I can get maybe 10-12 of the 2 gals in a 2x4 space.
