has anyone planted a net pot , plant & hydroton outside ?

Like it says I'm going to take some vegged plants 5 gallon lid plant , hydroton & all dig a hole outside & hopefully continue the grow . In this way I'll be having a nice head start of 1 or more months . If any ones done this please share any problems or tricks that could make my endeavor a success . Thought/drive being size matters thanks for any help

I use the 1 inch net pot with a RapidRooter placed in 5 inch net pots with hydrotron then bury them or put them into planters with more hydrotron.
Mind your nutes and ph. I premix 5 gallons at a time and make sure they get a good soak every three days. Every fourth watering is just plain old ph balanced water to flush them a bit.

The Thai in the back are in the net pots and buried in a raised bed. The planters are filled with hydrotron.

And yeah, it's a head start.
