has anyone ever tried a double scrog?

Would it be ok todo a double scrog if my plant wont stop gtowing..?
its a sativa strain just preparing for the worst shes 12"tall now still vegging but my teny is 62" tall
again just wondering for future. refrence

You can add as many layers of netting as you want, but if they are to tall with a SOG then you will have no light penetration to the lower nodes. You should just flower now and low stress train them to keep the vertical profile in check. Remember they are gonna almost double in size during flowering.
Also in SOG you mostly are just trying to generate as many good tops as possible, so I am not sure what a longer veg with multiple layers of netting will accomplish. All the buds on the lower level will struggle and mostly just take away useful energy that could be going to the tops.

The whole point of a scrog is to hold the plant so it will grow more horizontally, if it is getting to tall just tie it down again, until you want it to grow vertically.

The only advantage I can possibly see in using two screens would be support for the plants. The lower one won't have any buds to speak of unless you add an ass load of lighting between the two.

Lousy idea IMHO.
