This is one of my clones it rooted about a week ago and as soon as I saw nice rapid green growth I toped it. Tgat was 2 days ago. I have been having some problems lately. I have a mother plant 4 weeks into flower. I vegged her 6 weeks and did a minor scrog setup for her. I managed to get over 20 tops and took 10 clones. 5 before I flowered her and 5 a week or so into flower. I struggled with nearly all of them to get them rooted but most of them finally rooted and I transplanted them. There all at different stages but 2 got to be about 8 inches tall so I flowered them because im trying to do sea of green. One of the ones that was ready to be flowered somehow topped it self and even though I took this clone before I flowered the mother somehow it started to flower so it took weeks for it to revert back and root, in doing so it basically topped itself and I got 4 top cola's from it. I lolipoped her right before flower. The other one I only did lst to and basically bent the top over to one side and now have about 6 or 7 top bud sites growing before I flowers her. The next two I topped like I mentioned, one of these I topped has this wierd growth growing out of the base of the main stalk. I have never seen this before. I have seen wierd leaf growth and I have 5 of my clone right now that we're monster cropped and 2 of them have wierd as round leaves which I have heard of happening before but the one in question looks more like a twin or somethibg and I think it's worth askin around. This is the picture of my clone #2 that had the wierd growth that was topped a few days ago. I'm was hoping to experiment and see which method works best with sea of green. As I said I have monster cropped ones, lst and topped ones

This is a pic of the mother plant, it was bagseed from what I was told was kush xx lemon haze. It's looks really good to me for just over 4 weeks but I'm a beginner at this.
I'm currently using digital dual spectrum hps 600watt. I have 2 separate groups one group flowers st night and the other during the day to maximize my light coverage. Any of the clones or seedlings I have that are still in veg just stay under the light 24 hours a day until I flower them. I was having problems with my soil and have since been using seedling soul to root my clones because I used soil with nutes in it with most of my previous clones and they did not do well at first and took a long time to root I think because of the high nute levels. During flower I give a high phosphorus level and lower nitrogen but currently the n.p.k level of my super bloom is 10-55-6 which I think is to much nitrogen this later stage in flower and also to low in potasium so I need advise in that as well. I'm going to be getting molasses today and was going to try to find a bloom fertilizer with very low nitrogen if none at all but would like recommendation for p and k values. I was thinking more like 0-25-15 maybe?? I also just started adding unsulfered molasses yesterday because I saw what I thought was a calcium or magnizium def

It looks like it might be a "hormonal imbalance" so to speak, there is a hormone called auxin in cannabis that normally is in the tips of shoots and also in the tips of roots. Auxin works as a team with cytokinin, Both substances must be present in order to be effective, but the ratio determines if the net result is to either inhibit shoot growth and promote root growth – if the ratio is auxin-heavy – or promote shoot growth and inhibit root growth – if the ratio is cytokinin-heavy. When you lost that top the ratio went off because of less auxin, which is making your shoots grow but not your roots, this is why your plant is yellowing but still growing tons of branches, the plant can now produce branches, but not have the root structure to support it, just an opinion it could be something completely different, but the weird branch on the bottom makes me believe this to be true, there is no reason for new growth to begin there under normal circumstances. Cheers

Thank you very much. Makes so much sense to me. As I said I have a few monster cropped clones that look really weird but I have never seen anything like this. It's actually growing bigger and I usually trim and lolipop but I figure I would see what come from. It.lol I was also wondering why my mother plant which is now five weeks into flower is already yellowing up top and showing other signs of coming to the finish however it's kinda concerning because I should have three more weeks and wasn't sure if this was normal. Also I was curious how much the buds would really swell uo? The smell is getting very intense when previous it was a slight citrus and fruity smell but now it's a fruity overwhelming skunk smell as well. I just hope I'm doing everything right and wasn't sure if my nutes where an issue which is why I need input with that as well. Currently I'm giving 12-55-6 and was thinking the nitrogen was to much and potassium to low. I didn't know if I should get something different and also the to flush because as I said if I didn't know better it almost looks to me like it could finish in 7 weeks if that makes any sense but I def will be an eye o. The trichomes

I have had mother plants that were put into flowering after 2 years of keeping them and they did flower like 11 days early, I think they just flower quicker from a life of stress, they just want to be smoked!

They just want to be smoked hahahaha :weed:
I just picked a lower bud. I know it's to early but I couldn't wait. I dried it in about an hour in my light hood and omg I'm so thrilled. That shit got me so right. I can't wait till it's ripe. I know it's the age of question but how much can I expect the budsto swell and also how many more trichomes will show up if it's already super sticky already?

Is there a really good way to know about when you have about ten days to harvest so I can flush a little over a week ahead?

The buds will probably stack a little bit more, you won't be gaining much weight just maturing the trics, they have already swelled most likely and won't get a ton bigger, but every gram helps so I try to let mine go as long as it takes to reach 30% amber trics before harvesting.

Awesome great info. Is a two week flush nesseary? That's great info about the trichomes. I was familiar with the 30-50% at Harvest but 15% amber is a great guidline for flushing. Thanks. Do the trichomes pick up towards the end as well? I wanted to try a trick of using my metal halide bulb the last two days and then also 24-48 hours darkness the final hours before harvest but I was thinking I may do a staged harvest since I have long deep buds and didn't know if it helped more to harvest the too and let the bottom go a few more days especially if there's a noticeable difference in trichome color the further down you go.
