Has anyone ever grown auto flowering plants outdoors

Of course many here have grown autoflowers outside , they were made partially for this due to there ability to stay small and hidden while returning an investment regardless of the parallel or season . I have seen them just as diverse outside as they are indoors , it all depends on the genetic disposition of each pheno as most are not stable in the end , don't get me wrong there are some lines that have been worked out well but I can not recommend any as I do not like to play with anything with Ruderalis in it

To directly answer your question , I have seen the auto only produce a few grams and I have seen them develop into bushy plants that simply flowered early once mature and those yielded several ounces ........Peace

start them indoors under cfl's and try to get them to stretch harden them off outside a few weeks after preflower
worked for me more then a few times yields are usually better outside for me any way
but if you start them outdoors limit light or give it a shaded area to get some stretch
then move it into more direct sunlight after it has branches developed
tight nodes make for small plants

i can get an average of 4-5oz indoor with autos, i have gotten more than a pound with autos outside, if i showed you the plant that ive had outdoor that were auto you wouldnt even beleive me that they were auto....15ft tall...1.3 lbs...good luck

ak please do show lol i ould love to take a peek
i am going to visit a huge plant today to water, its about 12 ft tall right now, i grew it last year with awesome results. its called 'punky lion'..im unsure the makers of the seed but igot them on attitude awhile back, i will take pics today and either post them here or send them personally to you.

I have grown blue mystic in a 3 gallon pot out side for 2 oz and it was quality bud. Also have grow smaller varieties for 1/2 oz trimmed and dried.
I don't see the point of growing huge auto's Ill just go photo and leave out the ruderalis.

I purchased most of my auto seeds several years ago, and it appears there have been advances in autos (potency and size). In any event, here's some links to some of my outdoor journals that have autos in them. Some do not produce much, others do quite well in my opinion. Then again, it appears that I smoke less than most folks on this site.

This summers Easyryder grow. I don't weigh anything, but looks to be at least 1/2 an ounce, conservatively? It filled a little more than 1/2 a mason jar:

A couple more Easyryders and a Super Cali Haze grow. I've still got almost all of the SCH, I'm not a big fan of the type of buzz it produces. I should smoke a little bit soon just to see if I still feel the same way. Skip to page 5 to see the Easyryder harvests, and page 10 for the SCH harvest (much bigger as it is a superauto):

A bunch of staggered auto grows: Easyryder harvest on page 8; Disappointing Pakistan Ryder harvest on page 17; Top 69 harvest on page 26; Blueberry harvest on page 29; Big Devil harvest on page 30; Diesel Ryder harvest on page 46:

Next year I'll check out some of the newer autos. Definitely smaller yields when growing outdoors.
