Has anyone achieved 600W hps results with a 315W CMH LEC? (talking about yield)

When I bought my LEC kit I kept reading that the 315W CMH was equal to a 600W HPS in flowering/yields but so far it looks more like 400W HPS to me. This is my first grow with CMH so there is a lot of room for improvement and I am still not at the end, but having used a 600W HPS I doubt I will be able to achieve the same results with a 315W CMH. Interested in knowing if someone actually achieved these kind of results.

NO. Not if all things are equal.

A 600w Hortilux HPS will almost produce as much light as a 1000w Halide.
I sold my 1000 and stuck with the 600 HPS with an Eye Hortilux bulb. Any weight advantage from a 1000 was negligible considering the extra 400 watts an hour. Add that up for the entire grow and then by the number of grows a year and you've got a pretty good size sum.

Got rid of it all and went LED. Haven't regretted it yet.

But I know a lot of guys who have sold their CMH and gone back to HPS. Don't know any new converts. The 315 vegges really well. Problem is it's footprint is about 3' to flower. No way that's close to 600 coverage.

Ive got 2 1000w Hortilux HPS
1150w Gavita DE
Gavita 1700e
I veg with the 1700e.

600w Hortilux is 1170umol
1000w Hortilux HPS is 1600umol

1150w Gavita DE is 2100umol
1700e is 1700umol

Ishio makes a 1000w SE bulb thats 2100umol, but I havent used it.

What we found in an old aisle grow:
7x 315 replaced 5 x 600 hps and yield increased by about 10% and yields where more reliable: it was harder to fuck up the grow. Also plants where happy at higher temps (heatstress at +30C where hos would do it at about 26C
