Harvesting Setup Questions

So I recently have started my very first auto journey and just realized today that I'll be having some issues come harvest.

I have a tent that tends to output pretty well and in the past I've been drying and processing in there where I can control all the factors, most important of which is smell. But now I can't do that as I have a 'perpetual' style with plans to keep planting/harvesting every month or month and a half or so. Basically the tent is an undivided room and the lights need to keep doin their thing for my plants.

I live in a fairly small apartment and can not be dealing with strong smells right now when it comes to harvesting down the line, so I suspect I'll have to jerry rig some sort of new/separate room with an independent carbon filter?

There was also a thread somewhere that mentioned to get a bunch of odor removing something and to put it where needed but I'd much rather splash and get an isolated room where I can control everything.

I figured someone would have made a mini-fridge sized dryer for weed with humidity control but that is not the case. I'm kind of lost at the moment and would appreciate any advice or ideas! Thanks

Just get another tent to dry in and vent into your main tent, or if you want to double clean the air then add a fan/filter.

If you're in a small apartment and growing, it's going to be difficult. If you just started, we have some time to figure this out though.

Cardboard boxes may be the best bet for you. From what I've read, you're going to want to have no light when you're drying/curing, so one option is to use your same tent with the light off when you're drying. If you're planning on a perpetual grow, then maybe think of a cardboard box at the bottom of the tent, or next to the tent, with a dryer duct out of the side of the tent, into your grow tent like @coreywebster suggested. Doesn't have to be anything elaborate. Post some pics of the area, and maybe we can think up of a way to make this work.

I like corey's suggestion. Maybe a freeze dryer. Dried and cured in <24 hours. Total odor control.

I’ve wanted to get one but they do not come cheap! I looked into them when I got into making temple balls because drying bubble hash can be a bitch to get right unless you have a very controlled environment.

Make sure you have a scrubber running in your living space. It Really helps. I also blocked off vents in my drying/ curing room

Check out the myherbsnow drier. I don't have the room to hang dry either. It works like a charm! Absolutely no complaints
