Hi All, I am a first time grower even though I have been smoking for 20 years. Could I ask for a bit of help from you professionals in identifying attached pics, when my bud will be ready to harvest?20140315_162310.jpg20140315_162319.jpg20140315_162221.jpg20140315_162229.jpg

Hi, quite hard to tell from those pics but something doesn't look right to me. How many weeks since you switched to 12/12?

I hate to say but that plant is not worth finishing. Need to start a good 10 seeds then find a healthy lady, she would be three times as heavy and way more worth the work. you should see a good bit of bud on that lady by now.

I am in south africa and it is growing outdoors inbetween other garden plants, types of skunk. there are no males about or is it the other way round female? any way, just been feeding it 3:1:5 (15) organic fertiliser. had two weeks of almost tropical heavy rain, first sunny day but temps up to 28 centigrade.

Ah, fraid I can't really help. Only grow indoors and would be more hindrance than help.

Good luck.

Sativa clones? Looks like you have been flowering about 3 weeks, eh? Wild guess is you have another 5-6 weeks to finish. BigSteve.

No, no seeds on the buds. I will take some more pics this afternoon and post. The smoke that the seeds came from is kick ass to say the least. Skunk and swazi are the two types that are growing. Thanks so far for your help dudes. :joint: keep er lit

That is a likely pure sativa, and they can look like that. I too thought it might be hermie or male, but wispy buds scream pure sativa. It could yet hermie here and there, and it's still no crime. In fact, you may get a seed or 2. Sativas can take a long, long time to finish, and native African strains are known for that. The quality of the high changes. At 60 days it will be good but different from 90 days. Don't judge by the very tops. Gently fold the stalk over so you can inspect the underside of the buds. If they are green and fresh and clearly growing, and the calyxes are not fat, you can wait longer. Sativa high gets more complex as the plant matures. I like both the high and the flavor to be fresh, so I tend to pick a little early. All brown and dried pistils is too late for me. Looks like the yield will be low, but the high will be awesome! Congrats!
