Harvested top half, what do i do w/ bottom?

So I just harvested the top half of my plant, and left the bottom half because the buds did not get as big. To get the bottom half a bit bulkier , do i reveg, or just leave on 12/12, the pic is shitty but gets the idea.

Just leave 12/12 and they will finish maturing.

If I end up doing the same thing, do I have to worry much about putting the plant into shock when I completely sever her top half?
