Harvest!

after my months of learning and exploring the art of growing ganja my first plant is approaching harvest! I am excited and can't wait to try the product. I've read a few things on getting the primal harvest and stoniest weed possible. most of which says shit about a magnifing glass that i can't make sense of. I asked one of my buddies who grows and he told me pick buds where the once clear hairs are just finishing turning the orange color. right when the last hairs are turning orange pick those nugs. I was just curious for some extra input on getting my peak harvest. I'm about at the stage he mentioned, where the last of hairs are turning orange(some nugs a little behind), so i figure i'll just pick the mature ones and let the rest sit out for a chop down. I flushed with some lightly sugared water, and placed some mango rindes in the soil. I'll probably be watering again before i chop it. so yeah, any input would be splendid.

peace and love

Ripeness of THC is in the resin glands called trichomes, you’ll need a magnifying glass to see them, Do a search on trichomes ripeness, there are three stages of ripeness, look them up, you'll be wiser for it. I think you buddy just gave a generalized idea of what ripeness is and I’d take his advice with a grain of salt.
