Harvest time?

Hello again my little intarweb ducklings. my beauties are close to pickins, just wanna clear a few things up tho. i want to harvest when the crystals start to turn milky, correct? now what if they start to turn amber, before the hairs have browned on a sativa dominant plant? do i wait for the hairs, or is it going to be fine if i pick it while its still slightly white haired?

Pay attention to trichome color only. You want them to be cloudy at least. This is a sign of max thc production. In my opinion,a higher % of amber is preferred.More body buzz.Higher % cloudy...head buzz.Yours to determine.

As far as I have read, the rule of thumb is when half or more of the healthy white pistils become brown. However, sometimes the flowers will overmature while still having less then half of the pistils turn brown. When that happens you will notice the the flowers become dry or old looking. Thats the fine line that lets you know your plant is at its finest.

A few white pistils may appear late in grow, near the top of the tops, however lots (more than a few) would indicate they're not ready (still flowering) probably by at least 1/2 a month.
