Harvest questions and concerns

hows it going everyone!
im currently growing some pre 98 bubba veganically and shes been flowering for about 1 month and 2 weeks i was thinkning about giving her 2 more weeks before the cut down but i want second opioins i want to know if she should be harvested now or if i should give her the extra 2 weeks also i have came across little catpillar like things in some of the buds i killed ones i was able to find how would i get rid of these things? and i dont want to use any chemical to get rid of the issue also im first time grower

In the buds? Are there a lot?

Today I found like 4 I wanna say really small almost hard to find them one that I was able to see right away

A safe spray that works on Some critters is dish soap, a little vinegar and water, mix in a spray bottle and safely spray the infected area.

As for your harvest, by what I can see on the pictures, I would start flushing with water for a week and then harvest.

Ok so mix that up in a little spray bottle and just give some sprays on the buds ? It won't effect the buds or anything correct? And ok cool yeah I will do that! Second question when I cut her down I know I have to hang dry and stuff so what would be my next step as far as the harvest sorry for all the questions Ima noob

I sure hope I'm wrong but those buds look like you may have the onset of bud rot, especially noticeable in pics 2 and 3. Look closely at the buds and see if you seen any small droppings on the sugar leaves or in the buds. Also, if you lightly touch the buds, do the brown hairs easily come off and look mushy? Finding 4 caterpillars on a plant that small is not a good sign. Have you used any pesticides, organic or not? Like I said, I hope I'm wrong for your sake.
