Well, depends on how old they are and how much rain you are expecting but I say, leave 'em out! Let them dance in the rain, I took my plants outside about 3 weeks ago and the main stems were the size of a straw... 2 weeks later and MUCH rain and wind and the stalks tripled in size! Nice and strong, let them taste that mother nature.

I would alternate, depends on what kind of setup you've got for initial vegetative growth, on rainy days I pop mine under my aquarium lights and sometimes a 400w MH, I alternate between high quality flouros, sunlight, and the MH here and there as I used it infrequently 'cause it sucks up the juice, sometimes it's also good to use local rainwater to acclimate your plants to its ph etc., anyway I don't know why everyone is so preoccupied about "hardening off" just stick your babies under natural sunlight ASAP and do 18/6 with the six being outside in the cold in the spring, let it rain for now.

2 months old! jeez i stuck mine into the back yard after like 3 weeks, and they were strong enough to withstand storms lol (it was early in the year). the babies i got now went outside about a week after they poped out of the soil :p and the weather is STORMY the whole time theyre out. one bent over 90 degrees so i had to bring it in to let it recover cause of a rip in the stem, but the rest are doing fine even though they only have like 2 undeveloped sets of leaves on em.
