Thanx , I kinda figured there was little to no difference . I think we will stay organic but will probably buy what the local grow store sells . We are in the Bay Area and the selection is great . I may PM you later for nute advice if that is OK . In 4 weeks of course . What do you thing of Sure Start ? Like some kind of nitrate mix to put in the dirt .
dont do it right away. There'e a good chance it will be too stressful on plants. A downer about sure start is it doesn't have all 65 trace minerals, just 35, (this is very important in gaining maximum yields and building a superb root ball) and what they do list. is common in almost all nutes. They also say that ther stuff is "
based organically" Foxfarm does the same thing trying to pass as completly organic. I'm not sayin they are shit, but I just dont trust anyone who doesn't disclose all their ingredients, or try to pass off as something their not... I'm sure if u used it, it would work wonderfully, but i would just say its not for me. Based on the ingredients, it seemed to me is that u could go the the store, buy fish emulsion, kelp extract, high nitrogen bat guano, worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, some perlite and a pinch of your organic soil and have a great organic mix with tons of nutriens to grow in. My conclusion from all these years is that pretty labels and expensive prices are what sell. Some work well, other are a total waste and are PH nightmares. Chemicals in my grow are a definite no for me. For the most part Sure Start is predominatley organic, just not all the way. And it lacks in some 35 very important elements. And this may not matter to you and thats fine by me. I just think there is better out there that are 100% organic and work like magic. Once u taste the difference between organic vs. chemical, you'll never go back. Hearty buds are no problem with organics, nute burn is damn near impossible, and vegatation is never sacraficed. Ok sorry for the long winding. But if I were to pick a nuting program I would go with 100% organic BMO (Blue Mountain Organics) ebay only(search super plant tonic) and u can get their whole package for like 30-40$ shipped!!! They usually throw in free shit as well. If you youtube super teas gardening, that is basically what BMO is doing but they are super concentrating to be able to package and sell. A must use in my book. Do a search here on RIU for BMO and you will see what others are sayin. Words just gettin out. I personally have threaded a couple of times because I believe in their product so much. Just look at my photos and you'll see a big bushy with tons of buds.... All BMO. Anyways, sorry for the rant and use what ever u feel comfortable with. You'll learn as you go what you like and dislike. Without a doubt. Holla if u need anything.
ps. I did a side by side grow with BMO vs Advanced$$$$ the strain was Kali Mist, and BMO was preferred by everone that smoked my mist. I didn't tell them which one was which and out of about 20 people, everyone picked the BMO grow. The main difference for me was I got about 12 grams less on my BMO grow vs Advanced. So just a lil more than a quarter ounce. Hardly anything to write home about!!! Peace and holler about any questions. No worries.
