i planted my seed today, and i just read that it's bad to touch your seeds. why is that? if i did, does it lower the chances of sprouting?

Some people like to file their seeds with nail files to "wake them up" you're fine. Just be patient...

Look, if you just got done working on the truck or in the laundry or have gotten them oily somehow..it is in your best interest to make sure your hands are clean. Normal day normal hands probably no problem..xtra dirty just take the time to wash or use tweezers very lightly so as not to touch the tap root as you put it in.
