half hydro half soil?

can you grow a plant in soil then take the main stem and bend it over make some roots then put them in a hydro setup? Has anyone tryed this and do you have pics? :)

well, first of all you cant just bend it over, and expect it to make new roots from the top of the plant... and There would be no point if you already have a root system in the dirt.

So its not possible to have two root systems in hydro and soil?

you can plant a seed or clone in a soil plug, then place the soil plug in rockwool or a net pot with clay pellets, then add to your favorite hydro system.

it could work just grow train over splice add gel or cloning powder of choice put rockwool or peat moss around and wait to root then add to your medium,to root systems maybe faster growth ,less watering,who knows what could happen

oh, I was already gonna do something like this, now I'm just gonna have hydro and soil. but I like the way you think. I was just thinkin multiple root systems, then I find this, and now my buds hopefully will have much more flavor.

its possible.if he scared the stem gave it rooting hormone and kept it in the some rockwool it would sprout roots. then he just runs them into his hydro setup.:blsmoke:
