You get something like this happen.

Do you see the 2 white hairs coming from the little case (bract) on the stem? This is the female pistil

U know I always wondered what the name for that thing was. Bract? Sepal? Preflower? No preflower is too vague.

The hairs are called pistils, the other leafier pointy things sticking out of the stalk below the node (not sex related, males have'em too) are called stipules.

What do you get when you mix red and green colours?

If you are using pigments, which are referred to as subtractive colors, like paint, crayons, etc, then you would get a shade of brown.

But, if you are using light, which are referred to as additive colors, like the ones used for TV screens, then you would get the color yellow.

guess this answers my question

you know your plants are ready to flower when they are half the size that your grow can handle. Your plants are gonna double in size when you flip to 12/12 so make sure you have room for it.

Well this thread has cleared a concern up for me....i was seeing the stipules at the nodes and thinking my plant had turned male because there was no pistils emerging from these points...Thanks guys :)

Depending on how many plants you have you can flower now or wait. They should be more than ready. But, the longer you veg the more yield you will get. Are they feminized? how many do you have? got any pics?
