put them on paper towels on a pan or box. rotate them 1 time a day. no direct fans and temps 60-75. shoot for a 5 day dry and then cure.

I don't, but that's with my environment. Your situation may be different. I did cut some holes at the bottom for air flow. I cut square holes but only 3 sides of the square so it makes a flap that can be closed if needed. I can crack the top open if I need to to allow airflow. I have a hallway in my home that always has perfect conditions for drying. It's in a portion of the house that is only used by me so when I chop I hang in these boxes an put them all in the hallway. That works for me but your not drying at my house, lol.
From what I've read, complete darkness is best. My area is pretty dark and my boxes are closed.

Man the only alternative i can think of is if the plant you still have isnt that strong of odor to may pull her out and put the harvest plants or plant in so you wont catch mold. But i dont know if your system is complicated as far as your set up and connections. Like would it be easy to take lighting out and continue the grow outside the tent and control odor best as you can with strategy or how that would be to your comfort. There is a way and be quick about a resolution to avoid time and stress consumption. Just saying what could be done as to a friend and grower bro. GoodLuck!

I read sonewhere on guide, no idea where it qas though, so I stand to be corrected on the method. But apperantly you van put them in a brown paper bag, 1 layer. Then add some shredded brown paper bags on the buds, a few inches thick, and then add some more buds.
