H202 Poisoning plants?

The first two times rooting clones in my EZ Cloner 60, it was a great success. Huge, beautiful healthy roots in about 7 days.

I didn't use any H2O2, but I used Clonex rooting gel and cloning solution.

The last 3 times, however, have been bad. First, the water started to smell, ph jumped from 6.2 to 8.2 overnight, slime formed on the walls and stems of the plants, and foam started coming from everywhere. Cloner was drained, new cuttings were taken, and I started over. I ran bleach through the system, used the same mix as before, and got the same (bad ) results.

Third time around I don't use Clonex of any kind and add 3ml of 29% H2O2 for every gallon of water. Water temp has stayed at 72 degrees this entire time. Now ph has stabilized and the water smells and looks fine, but the clones have no good signs 7 days later. No root nubs, and the bottom of the stems are brown and limp. On top of the plants, a wet, white powder formed some lines on the leaves, as though the plants brought the H2O2 up through them and were trying to evaporate it. I don't believe it's PM, because none of the large plants sharing the room have any signs. But point being, these clones are dead, again.

Has anyone has any issues poisoning their clones with H2O2? Was the mix just too strong, or am I missing something else? It looks like the H2O2 solved the bacteria problem, but then caused problems of its own. I need to figure this out, STAT.
