I haven't seen any full lines vs each other, only base vs base. So I thought I'd give it a whirl. By no means am I as experienced as a lot of the growers who are doing compare grows. But maybe it'll be help to some others while also maybe getting some help from you guys. I've been using AN's master grower feeding schedule for the last year and my only year growing for that matter. So this is the only line of mutes I've used and have decent results, avg 18z's per light. Though I know that can be better. And I'm kinda starting to feel less is more lately, hence the reason I'm trying this.
So first a little about my set up. I run two separate rooms, veg and flower. T5's 4x8 in veg and 1000 watt Hps in flower. Veg room is run 24/0, temps 75-80, hum 60. Flower is 12/12, temps 82-84, hum 50, and C02 at 1500. I run the higher temp in flower to accommodate the higher C02 levels.
For this grow I will be using 6 critical sensi stars. There's a little twist though. I will also be trying airpots in this grow. I will have 3 running the full H&G line which 1 will be in a 7 gallon airpot and 2 in regular square 5 gallon pots, with minor substitutions. The other 3 will be running AN's master grower feeding schedule, 1 in 7 gallon airpot and 2 in the 5 gallon square pots.
Now this probably won't be the best comparison as they've already been vegging from clone for 3 weeks using AN's grow a & b,piraña,tarantula, and b52. I also use Atami root boostic for a root enhancer. This will be used to substitute for H&G's root excelurator. I will also not be using foilar from H&G. I use a mix of GH's florduo a&b and nitrozyme for that.
I transplanted in the airpots tonight and will transplant into the 5 gallons from the 1 gallons they were in in a few days. Wanted to give the 7 gallon pots a little head start so all the ladies will enter flower room all at once. I do veg for 60 days so the transition is awhile away, however this a short flower so final results will be fast. I'm hoping someone will be able to chime in on my I'm getting yellowing after two weeks in flower when being vegged for longer. Didn't really have this problem when I did a shorter veg time.
So tonight the ladies got their first week 3 grow feeding for H&G and the others their normal week 4 feeding for AN. I started with week 3 for the H&G just to not start at to high of a EC. Here' a pic of the two ladies In their new airpots. You'll notice I do have a little yellowing now to start with.
