Guess the final weight!!!

The strain is TGA's "Deep Purple"....Fast becoming one of my favorite strains of all time. It is Purple Urkel (Mom) X Querkle (Dad). The Querkle is Space Queen X Purple Urkel. or (Cindy 99 X Romulan) X Purple Urkel.
This particular pheno is the Urkel dominant pheno, I've grown quite accustomed to the strain after several runs of it.

I was just curious as to what you guys think the final weight will be...These were taken directly after harvest.



I'll let you guys know my guess after a few people chime in....

Here are 2 hints:

*This strain throws off extremely dense flowers
*The wet weight of the biggest bud, located next the lighter, is 13.1 grams.


Also, check out the sugar leaf I got off of this stuff. Geez Luiz, can't wait for my next hash run!!!

56g's dry. So 168 wet.

id say you will get 1 ounce

my guess is 78g wet, 31.2 g dry

Now that a few people have chimed in, I will give my estimate, and of course post the results in around 7 days when it is fully dried. I will leave the buds arranged in the exact same arrangement and photograph it....And then I will photograph the weight.

I'm guessing that fully dried, this harvest will weigh 35.7 grams. And I really hope I am right!! Up until after I trimmed it, I honestly thought I would pull an oz. off it. But I was impressed with the density of the lower buds, even down to the very bottom branches. I love this strain!

I hope not.

i think ur looking at about 25 grams give or take a few honestly.. i grew out pretty dense buds in the past and after letting them dry and cure i noticed a huge loss in weight, not a bad thing though.. quality over quantity right boys! lol how does the deep purple taste? i threw out a freebie on my last order and always was curious about it.

The buds look like you harvested them a couple weeks early.

I'll post trichome shots in a couple of days....

I took this girl further than I've taken any Deep Purple in the past. Pistils are no indication of ripeness.

The trichomes on this herb are 70% Cloudy, 30% Amber. No clear at all. I have a Veho microscope to check them, so no problem there.

I can't wait for it to dry, it will be the most CBD and CBN rich strain I've had in a while. And I'm expecting even more trichomes to mature to amber through the drying process, as they usually do!!

I thought the same thing.

This is a shot of the strain 2 weeks early, which was taken 2 weeks ago....The trichs when this photo was taken were 60% cloudy, 30% clear, 10% amber...

I harvested them on day 68 from first pistils, day 74 from switching to 12/12.

Im going in at 28grams.....

Anybody else have any opinions??? I guess I have to hold firm with my guess of 35.7, although after looking at it this morning, it makes me nervous!!!! It looks honestly like those who guessed 28~grams are closer.

I'm hoping they hold their weight like they did the first time!!!

Haha. That's all I have to really say. Sorry dude. The best purple strain I've ever had in my life, especially when grown and cured properly!!

well not threw away in the trash lol just ddnt have room for a possible male so i gave it to a buddy and never heard from it again cuz i moved and had lost all my contacts thanks to a broken iphone.. does it cure to a purple color at all? hows the tatse? lotsa different phenos?
