GrowLab 120 or Homebox L

I am new to the site and have been reading very much for the past month or so, many of you have significant knowledge that is well appreciated. I have several questions concerning some products and sites. First, is the Growlab 120 the same quality as the Homebox? I have read that the Homebox people make the Growlab. Anyone have one or knows of someone that has one? Is www.businesslights.com a real site or a scam site? They also run some other generic site called something like best hydro supplies or something. Same site layout and prices. Prices on Vortex inline fans are unbelievably inexpensive. I tried to call the 1-800# on the website and don't get an answer or machine. Tried googling the site for complaints and only one comes up calling them out as a scam that takes money and never ships product. If anyone has ordered product from this site (don't say you have if you haven't please) did you receive your products? I would like to pick up some vortex fans from them if they are legit. Thank you for your feedback.

Another question, I woul like to use a turbogarden ebb and flow in it, should i rock a 400watt system or a 600watt system? Would the 600 be overkill? Replacement bulbs for the 400w are much less expensive than the 600w ones. Plan to only grow 3 or 4 in the turbogarden.

Well, I own the Homebox L and couldn't be happier.

But note that the Homebox L is smaller than the Growlab 120. The Homebox XL is the one you should compare it to.

If you're getting the 120/XL then a 600w should be perfect. On my Homebox L that would produce too much heat.

The sites say that the Growlab 120 is GrowLab 120 - 3'11" x 3'11" x 6'7" and the homebox L 3'3.5" x 3'3.5" x 6.6". Thank you very much for your feedback guys. Could I rock out the turbogarden in the homebox without many problems? 3,4 or 5 plants? Planning on a 6" vortex for the exhaust with a Can 33 charcoal filter through a euro hood. Intake a 4" vortex. Any suggestions on different set ups?

I think that I am going to settle with a proven winner, the HomeBox L. Thank you guys for your feedback. I would still like more information and input from anyone/everyone. Thanks again.

what kind of info on the Homebox L are you looking for?
I am looking for the standard edition. I woke up this morning and changed my mind on the tent. I have now decided to go with the growlab 120 with a 600w lamp unless I read poor reviews about the growlab 120 e.g...Light leaks, vent openings not air tight, easy to tear, etc... I found a relatively well priced 600w kit at htg. I will definetely get the turbogarden ebb n flow unless someone informs me of a more sturdy/reliable system. I am open for any and all suggestions from experienced or even inexperienced cultivators. Any suggestions or criticism is welcomed. I plan on ordering all of my equipment by the end of march, so I still have about 3 1/2 weeks to decide on my complete setup.

I'd definitely go with the Homebox XL. I've honestly never heard of the Grow Lab, so I can't make a fair judgement, but from my research Homebox is the original and perhaps best option. I know that they DON'T use PVC lining for the interior which is toxic to the plants. A lot of other brands still do.

My only regret when I picked up the L is not going for the XL and step it up to 600w.

I still might get an XL and use the L for vegging/cloning with CFLs.

BTW are you looking at the regular white interior or silver? the islver is supposed to be more reflective and unfortunately I didn't even know it existed 'til after I bought mine :(

I would like the silver but whenever I google it for retailers it comes up as the Sun Hut Silver XL, Is this a marketing trick or did they really change the name?

The Grow Lab is manufactured by the same company as the HomeBox, I believe, just under a
different name. The main difference is the price. I would probably go with the HomeBox, since
it's more well known and cheaper too.

Nah I was at a growshop two weeks ago and it was branded Homebox. Still not sure if Sun Hut is in fact Homebox. Some sellers claim they changed the name, but I dunno...

Thanks for your response guys. I have about 3 weeks to decide before I go ahead and jump head first into this. I plan on making all of my purchases by the end of march. Once im up and running I will definetely keep a journal.

I would go with a 400watt HPS for that tent, nothing smaller. I have one, and it's
just enough light. I might even move up to a 600watt after a couple grows.
