Thats good to know...was going to use at start of year but thought it would shade too much..

Has it made the girls stretch more than normal for strain used Ruby...,budding late etc..

Sorry mate didnt see this
Mine do stretch a bit at the start but it's more because my area doesnt have 100% access to the sun...not so much the shadecloth just my fencing

Getting the soil right is sooooo important
Noice must be Sativa! are those Malawi's?
I also have 5' walls covering east and west. In late spring I get 6 hours direct sun as the angle goes higher overcome my house.
One trick is to paint the walls white but I didn't want to go blind so I painted it ivory fresco has a LRV ~80% so I get like 30k lumens bouncing off them. You can plant babies in the shade this way.
I'm thinking when it reaches over 100 (100 feels nice here and the stativas don't care) I can just block the top half enough to only block noon sun since I want the filtered sun other times and the clear sky lumens 90 degrees up.
