growing too high too quick i think

hi ive been growing from seeds i got from buds to try them out to see if they would grow.after like a week with no good lights it went like 3-4inches from the soil to the first two leaves set and im sure there something wrong cause its way too high and i dont think it would hold himself up in not long when the next leaves are gonna grow cause its really skinny. can somebody help me up cause now i bought 3x100 watts compact fluo 1600 lumens (uses only 23 watts) and im not sure if it would do something better.

The cfls will help immensely, I grow under cfls and there's absolutely no stretching, make sure the light are an inch or 2 away from the plants, they're useless any further..

Tall ALWAYS means the lights are way too far. Lower those badboys and pack some soil up around the base of the stem for support.

Honestly, if you find yourself having to use toothpicks and shit, I would just start over.

I agree, move the light closer. If they wont stand up, you are better off starting over again. Keep that light really close to prevent that stretch.
