Growing space need help?

Ok so I have a stealth cabinet that I made with the dimensions of 28 "x 16"x 42 inches tall. With my pot in place and my lamp fixture I got only 2 feet of working space for the plant to grow. Thats not even counting the 8-10 inches I got to have in between the plant and the lamp. I have thought of LST to keep the plants short. Or even 12/12 from seed to keep my plant short. Do you guys think I could pull this off? How many plants could I do in an area like this? Can I flower and harvest a plant like around 1 feet and a half? I am also using 10" round pots. 250- wt hps and 4-27wt daylight cfl's. Any ideas and or advice please?

I dont want to run auto flowers because A: heard its not as potent as other strains that are not crossed with Ruderalis.(Which is the plant that gives it its autoflowering capabilities.) And B: I wouldnt mind not spendind 18 hours of light from the get go instead of maybe my 12/12 from seed method. But Im not sure if I should do this either. As far as the Autoflowering strains I thought of those too.

I'm in the beginning of a grow at about those same dimensions with a DWC and HPS - please feel free to look at my journal if it'll help. I'm new to indoor growing but plants are doing ok so far:

People grow non-autos in computer cases - it can work, sure. I'm keeping my expectations about yield low though... but planning on getting a perpetual thing going if I can complete this grow and get a motherplant clone from it established.
