Growing problems

i have a 150 watt plant light i bought from homedepot and it seems like its drying the soil out to fast. I have the light about 1' away from the plants any ideas as to what i should do?

water you plant more often.

keep the light about 8in from the plant and don't let the soil dry out totally.

Thats the problem i cant be around every two hours to water it all the time any solutions as to how to make it stay moist longer?

Bigger, deeper container holds more water. Mix coco/vermiculite/etc. to soil(?) to hold more H20. Move fan to blow higher, maybe at the light - not directly at soil. A few tips to get started. Do you live in low humidity climate? If so, do you have too much ventilation?
Glass on the light bottom should reduced temps, and thus evaporation, a bit.
